Sizing and Fitting Information

All our wigs are designed to fit a medium, often called “average”, head size. As a general guide, this is a head circumference of approximately 21.5–22.5 inches (54.5–57 cm).

Adjusting your fit

Adjustable straps at the nape allow you to fine-tune the fit for a comfortable, secure feel. Fit also depends on the cap’s construction and how much natural hair you have underneath.

Choosing a cap construction

Open-wefted caps generally offer more stretch and may feel more accommodating if your head circumference is towards the larger end of the average range. Closed-wefted caps may offer a closer fit if your head circumference is towards the smaller end. These are general pointers, rather than a guarantee, as individual wigs can fit differently.

How to measure your head

To measure your head circumference, use a soft measuring tape around your hairline, passing just above your ears and around the nape. Keep the tape snug, but not tight, with your hair arranged as you would wear it beneath your wig.
